Multi-Currency in the US

SegPay's U.S. IPSP processing is now enabled with multi-currency capability. The system currently supports Euro and British Pound Sterling, but will be enhanced to support the Canadian Dollar, Australian Dollar and Japanese Yen. All funds are converted and settled to your U.S. bank account. Please contact your Sales Director or Sales@SegPay.com if you would like to add these currencies to your U.S. processing account.

Mainstream IPSP Services

Looking to expand your business model to mainstream? You can take advantage of SegPay's competitively priced mainstream IPSP in the U.S. and EU. All of the services included with your existing IPSP service are now bundled with pricing that ranges between 5- 7 percent depending on volume. The program is available for both tangible and digital content products.

Updates to the SegPay Reporting Service (SRS)

For those clients that have multiple accounts with SegPay or work with multiple SegPay ID's, you can now pull data from the SRS for all of your accounts with a single login versus pulling each account one by one. To set up for a single log in, please contact TechSupport@segpay.com.

What is BRAM?

Both MasterCard and Visa have programs intended to protect themselves from being associated with illegal or brand damaging behavior. BRAM, or Business Risk Assessment and Mitigation, is the MasterCard program. MasterCard and Visa have identified content and products that they do not want their cards associated with and will levy significant fines if they identify their cards are accepted on any websites offering these services. These categories include:

  • Illegal prescription drugs
  • Illegal tobacco product sales
  • Counterfeit and copyright infringing merchandise
  • Child pornography
  • Illicit Web sites depicting violence and extreme sexual violence
  • Rape (or any other non-consensual sexual behavior)
  • Non-consensual mutilation of a person or body part
  • Bestiality

Each month SegPay utilizes a website crawler to be sure none of our programs violate BRAM polices. This is the same Web Crawler that Visa and MasterCard use. While only a handful of potential BRAM violations are identified each month, SegPay has only 48 hours to correct violations to minimize our risk of fines and penalties. Should you receive a notification, please don't panic, but do your best to quickly modify or remove the content in question so both SegPay and you can stay in compliance. You can view all of SegPay's compliance policies at: http://segpay.com/documents/2.0/SegPaySiteComplianceGuidelines.pdf.
